Sophomore Zy’Aire Hughes was arrested earlier today.Details are very scarce so far. We do know that Hughes has been charged with fourth-degree assault.More, from the Courier-Journal:Kentucky sophomore wide receiver Zy’Aire Hughes was arrested Sunday on a charge of fourth-degree assault.Hughes was arrested on Woodland Avenue near UK’s campus and booked in the Lexington jail, according to the jail’s website. No other details of his arrest were immediately available.Kentucky football has reportedly said that it is aware of the situation with Zy’Aire Hughes.Hughes has played sparingly for the team this season.Against Murray State earlier in the year, he caught a 49-yard touchdown pass on a trick play double pass involving Benny Snell and quarterback Terry Wilson.It was one of just two catches on the year for Hughes.Kentucky football finished the regular season ranked No. 14 in the College Football Playoff rankings.[Courier-Journal]last_img
